I am trying to avoid my well-worn ruts, but this comment by tc in regards to architecture made my ears perk up:

I took the gentlemen's comments to mean that to much of the world, the Midwest is an unknown country; the media does tend to concentrate on the coasts.

And, which parts of the country tend to be liberal, and which parts conservative? Here's a hint:


So, if the media focuses on the coasts, and the coasts trend liberal, isn't it reasonable to conclude that the coverage will be biased toward the liberal?
