I Am Back
I know you all missed me terribly. Thanks for lending a helping hand, John.
Still digging out from under vacation backlog-- I will try to post this evening.

Still digging out from under vacation backlog-- I will try to post this evening.
'Til then, I leave you with:
- Phil Mickelson is the Greg Norman of this generation of golfers. That was a terrible Sunday choke job, and a really stupid way to play the 72nd hole of the U.S. Open.
- Training camps are only a month away! Fear not intrepid readers, the NFL will be here soon (I'm already seeing cheesy NBC ads for their Sunday night games)!
- That Dwayne Wade kid is pretty good-- but the officiating in the NBA Finals has been just horrendous. Really, really pathetic.
- It is time for earmarks to die. Our country will never be fiscally sound as long as this kind of pork spending continues to be business as usual. If you have a candidate that espouses fiscal restraint, vote for him or her-- regardless of party. If you don't, write somebody in.

Ugh. Can you actually name one single reason why Obama should be one heartbeat away from being the leader of the free world? What accomplishments does his resume boast of? What are his qualifications for high office? Keep in mind that there hasn’t been a decent Senator to President ascension – ever.
