The Sky is Falling!

Okay, not really. Just legs. Okay, leg. You may have already heard about this, but I thought Pam Hearne's comments were pretty remarkable. A lot of people, myself likely among them, would have tried to say something witty. Some people, hopefully not many, would have said something crass, or threatened to sue for "emotional distress." Pam said this:

"But I am very glad that I live where I do,” she said, ”so I don’t have to run for my life like this man probably was doing.”
Which is pretty classy, I'd say.
Comments:
I would have probably said something like, "Kind of gives a new meaning to the phrase, 'last leg of the trip', doesn't it?"

Or perhaps -

"I guess he just wanted to get a leg up on his new life!"

Or maybe -

"All I have to say is: Rest in pieces."

How about -

"It's kind of like that song... what was it called - 'It's raining men!' Well, parts of them, anyway."

Yeah, I know, that's pretty lame. It's really too bad that the leg didn't fall on HER instead of the house. Then she could have said, "I was just walkin' around and BAM! Thing hit my like a kick to the head!"

Yeah, I'm a sicko.
